We recently completed this full turnkey construction of a bespoke art studio for our returning client, delivering the project from start to finish. The work began with the demolition of the existing building and installation of deep pile foundations, followed by a structural steel frame, timber wall construction, and a mezzanine floor. The interior was fitted with underfloor heating, a tiled screed floor, and expertly plastered walls, creating a clean and modern finish. A full new heating system was installed along with all new services, including electrical and oil supplies.
The studio features intelligent lighting throughout, with high-quality art studio lighting carefully designed to create an ideal environment for creative work. Additional features include a luxurious steam room and a bespoke kitchen work area, custom-built to suit the needs of the space.
A floating steel staircase adds a bold architectural statement, leading to the mezzanine level. The insulated Kingspan panelled roof ensures high thermal performance, and the exterior is clad in beautiful cedar. Large aluminium windows and pocket sliding doors at both front and rear disappear completely into the walls, allowing for seamless indoor-outdoor living.
To complete the project, we landscaped the surrounding area with a flush, tiled terrace, fresh grass seeding, and soft landscaping — delivering a finished space that is as functional as it is inspiring.
